20 main levels, each with increasingly difficult ghosts and various fruits. Paku must eat all dots on the screen to get to the next level.

Basic- has speed 1
Easy- has speed 2
Moderate- has speed 3, eats dots and deposits them elsewhere
Hard- has speed 4, eats fruits, drops bombs and traps (send Paku to the center)
Mega- has speed 5, can move through walls (limited)

Capturing Ghosts: when a ghost is captured it is transported to the center of the screen but breaks out again quickly

Unlimited Capture: this ability allows Paku to drop unlimited capture fruits, but they will only work on one type of ghost
Eating Ghosts: Paku gains the ability to eat certain ghosts for health, but once eaten a ghost will come back stronger and inedible

Quests:
Once Paku has eaten all the dots on the screen the Quest Fruit becomes available.
Quests may consist of:
1 timed challenge where Paku must eat all dots on the screen in a certain amount of time
1 maze challenge where Paku must get through a maze in a certain amount of time
1 teleport challenge where Paku must figure out how to teleport to the exit in a certain amount of time
1 final challenge pertaining to the story and the Quest earnings that Paku will get if he succeeds

The final challenge is the only necessary part of each quest, since the final challenge is the only part that moves the story forward.

Story:
The first quest's final challenge is to rescue Pakina, who has been taken by the ghosts. Paku must bomb past the ghost guards to rescue her.
In the following quests Paku must capture ghosts or secure items for Pakina, who is attempting to create a weapon to use against the ghosts. The items Paku finds should relate to the quest earnings given in the table above. Challenges that result in quest earnings such as higher speeds should be timed. Challenges that result in quest earnings such as unlimited chapturing should involve capturing ghosts for Pakina's "research." Etc.
In the final quest, Paku uses Pakina's weapon to defeat the ghosts forever. Paku must first capture all the ghosts on the screen and then use the weapon once they are all captured.

A note on the Hard ghost: when this ghost eats the fruits, the good fruits help this ghost and disappear, but the bad fruits do no harm to the ghost and remain on the screen.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: None of the "numbers" used are defined here. For example, I refer to several different speeds that Paku can attain, but none of these is yet defined. Such things should be set once the rest of the Quest mode is completed in order to achieve maximum "playability."*
